New Mexico Alcohol Id Laws

The state allows the sale of alcohol on Sundays at resorts and racetracks. However, a parent, guardian or spouse 21 years of age or older can purchase alcohol and serve it to a person under that age. Answer: No. With the exception of food counters where customers can sit down to order food and beverages, a restaurant cannot have counters primarily dedicated to displaying, serving or consuming alcoholic beverages, with occasional food service; and E. All areas of the premises covered by the licence must have a food service as their primary commercial purpose. Outdoor terraces must be enclosed by a fence or wall to physically separate the outdoor area from the licensed areas in the surrounding area. The enclosure must surround most of the outdoor deck, but may have a small opening or door to allow guests to enter and exit, unless the Director is of the opinion that there is a valid reason to require a complete fencing of the deck or to waive this requirement subject to any necessary restrictions if the outdoor terraces are located on a licensed site. which consists of zones and facilities. provided that all licensed facilities are physically or otherwise reasonably separated from surrounding areas.
